This event was part of the <em data-start=\"3210\" data-end=\"3234\">Green Pulse of Silesia<\/em> program, carried out in cooperation with <strong data-start=\"3276\" data-end=\"3290\">Stellantis<\/strong>, combining care for the environment with real, hands-on action in the region.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"3377\" data-end=\"3411\">New Life in the Urban Forest<\/h2><p data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3613\">For years, the Biskupice Municipal Forest has been a place of rest, recreation, and walks for the local community. Now it has gained something more &#8211; young trees that will grow along with the city.<\/p><p data-start=\"3615\" data-end=\"4044\">The planting involved representatives of local institutions, participants of the <strong data-start=\"3696\" data-end=\"3746\">Caritas Gliwice Occupational Therapy Workshops<\/strong>, and residents of Zabrze. Together, we planted over <strong data-start=\"3801\" data-end=\"3816\">1,000 trees<\/strong>, including about <strong data-start=\"3834\" data-end=\"3866\">80% native deciduous species<\/strong> (oaks, beeches, lindens, maples, hornbeams) and <strong data-start=\"3915\" data-end=\"3934\">20% fruit trees<\/strong> (apple, pear, cherry, sour cherry, and rowan), which will provide food for birds
