The meeting took place at the Racib\u00f3rz Cultural Centre, where together with <\/span><b>female and male students<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from Primary School No. 1 in Ostr\u00f3g, we created <\/span><b>insect houses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participants prepared shelters for pollinating insects with great commitment. The finished structures were placed in the area around the school and the cultural centre, where they now play their <\/span><b>role in protecting local nature<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: important?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The workshops had both a <\/span><b>practical and educational<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> character. Pollinating insects \u2013 such as solitary bees, ladybirds and butterflies \u2013 <\/span><b>play a key role in maintaining ecological balance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Their population is declining as a result of environmental pollution, the use of chemical plant protection products and the loss of natural habitats.<\/span><\/p><p><b>By creating insect houses, we provide insects with safe places to live and reproduce<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, thereby supporting biodiversity and the health of ecosystems. Each such initiative is a <\/span><b>real action for the protection of nature<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Ecology in practice \u2013 learning that engages<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the workshops, we showed that <\/span><b>ecology can be interesting and accessible to everyone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Participants could build the houses themselves, learn about natural materials and find out how insects use the prepared shelters.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Working together was not only great fun but also an <\/span><b>important lesson in responsibility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The finished structures were placed in the area around the school and the cultural centre, where they now play their role in protecting local nature. Why are insect houses important? The workshops had both a practical and educational character. Pollinating insects \u2013 such as solitary bees, ladybirds and butterflies \u2013 play a key role in maintaining ecological balance. Their population is declining as a result of environmental pollution, the use of chemical plant protection products and the loss of natural habitats. By creating insect houses, we provide insects with safe places to live and reproduce, thereby supporting biodiversity and the health of ecosystems. Each such initiative is a real action for the protection of nature.
