Natural Soap-Making Workshop with the Dobrego Pasterza Foundation on August 27, 2025 in Wisła Mała, Poland
On August 27, 2025, a unique natural soap-making workshop took place in Wisła Mała. The event gathered the beneficiaries of the Dobrego Pasterza Foundation, who together discovered the joy of creative activity and connection with nature.
The workshop in Wisła Mała was organized as part of the Green Pulse of Silesia program – a long-term educational and social initiative carried out by the One More Tree Foundation in cooperation with the program’s partner, Stellantis. The project aims to build ecological awareness, promote sustainable lifestyles, and activate local communities through practical actions and creative meetings.
Soap that speaks louder than words
The workshop began with a short introduction to the world of natural soap-making. Participants learned about the properties of plant-based ingredients, discovered how essential oils influence well-being, and explored how everyday consumer choices can support the environment. For many, it was the first opportunity to create something with their own hands – with heart and intention.
A creative space
The prepared workstations invited with the colors of dried herbs, the aromas of essential oils, and a variety of forms. Each participant could choose their own composition – from relaxing lavender, through refreshing mint, to energizing citrus. With enthusiasm, they helped mix ingredients, select additions, and decorate molds. The shared work encouraged conversations, laughter, and building connections.
The joy of making
The atmosphere was full of warmth, support, and freedom. Everyone could work at their own pace, with guidance provided at each stage. When the time came to remove the finished soaps from the molds, smiles and pride appeared on the participants’ faces. The soaps were diverse – each different, each unique.
Small gestures, great value
The workshop demonstrated that even the simplest actions can become a space for learning and building ecological awareness. For the participants, it was an encounter with knowledge about natural ingredients, the impact of plants on health and well-being, and how everyday choices can truly shape the future of our environment. Through hands-on experience, theory blended with practice – each soap bar became a symbol of a more conscious, responsible lifestyle.
Thank you
The One More Tree Foundation warmly thanks all participants for their presence, openness, and energy they brought to this meeting. We also thank the Dobrego Pasterza Foundation for their cooperation and Stellantis for their commitment to the activities we carry out together for a more conscious and sustainable Silesia.
